Dr. Emily Morio

Dr. Emily Morio grew up in Ames, Iowa. She received her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and continued on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at The University of Iowa. During her dental education, Dr. Morio completed research in the specialties of pediatrics and orthodontics. She also had experience working with community health centers, pediatric clinics, and private dental practices prior to joining North Grand Dental. Dr. Morio enjoys all aspects of dentistry and takes a comprehensive approach with the latest technology to help people of all ages. She has also enjoyed spending time as a volunteer dentist in her local communities. Dr. Morio is a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, and Des Moines Dental District.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Morio and her husband enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time with their German Shepherd and three children, Makayla, Matthew, and Madison. Dr. Morio is passionate about dentistry and is looking forward to seeing your smile!
