Welcome Back Patients! Exciting Office updates

Welcome Back! We Look Forward to seeing you now that we have reopened!

We hope you, your family, and friends are in good health! Our community has been through a lot over the last couple of months, and all of us are looking forward to getting back into our routines again. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety and oral health.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. Our office follows recommendations made by the ADA, CDC, and OSHA. We follow their recommendations and guidance to make sure that our infection control procedures are up to date.

You will see some changes when it is time for your next visit. We made these changes to help protect you and our staff. For example:

  • Our office may communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked the same questions again when you are in the office and your temperature may be taken.
  • Please do not arrive early for your appointment or show up late. We have blocked our schedule to allow for proper social distancing, so it is important that you show up at the time you are scheduled.
  • Please call us when you have arrived at the building. We will call you back so you may be seated promptly.
  • Please arrive wearing a mask. We have added hand sanitizer in the reception area and other areas for your convenience.
  • We will be checking out and scheduling your next visit in the treatment room and will utilize multiple exits to help with social distancing. Our building is large enough to socially distant patients during procedures.
  • We will be able to accommodate parents with children, but other guests will need to wait in the car during the appointment.
  • You may notice additional PPE being used for certain procedures and additional staff for cleaning.

We are taking these deliberate measures to keep you and our staff safe so that we can ensure we continue to offer you, our patient, excellent customer service and dedicated, high-quality treatments.

We are also excited to welcome Dr. Emily Morio and Dr. Trevor White to our practice. They will be joining us later this summer. Dr. Emily and Dr. Trevor have been practicing in the Des Moines area and are excited to get back to Ames and join North Grand Dental. Both were born and raised in Ames, graduates of Ames High School, patients of North Grand Dental, and graduates of The University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Joe and Mary Consamus will be retiring at the end of June and we want to thank them for their many years of service to the community. Joe and Mary will be completing their treatment plans in the coming months, so make sure to schedule. They are looking forward to seeing you before they leave the practice.

Thank you for being our patient! We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back!

Sincerely,

Dr. Justin Hampton, Dr. Nate Feldman, and The North Grand Dental Team
